Here is what has been going on.
First, book news for The Hummingbirds is starting to ramp up. I've received a handful of cool blurbs about my novel. You can see those here.
Second, I'm teaching again at Hugo House this Winter! The class is called FICTION II, and it's (you guessed it) the second in a series of three introductory fiction courses taught at Hugo House. I'll be focusing on a few key craft elements as well as a creative roundtable workshop. You can sign up here.
Third, my word is starting to get out about my book release party! It is at Hotel Sorrento's fireside room (classy!) on February 6th, the release date of the book. Hugo House is putting it on. I'll be reading as well as answering any questions lobbed my way. Here's an event page at The Stranger.
Fourth, the Seattle Review of Books did a write-up on the Lit Crawl Reading I was a part of a few weeks back. You can read that here.
